I don’t understand, I’m on social media like almost all of us here, want to be liked, feel accepted by others but nobody will accept me. I’ve worked out and got in amazing shape, done all I can do, but when I follow people they never follow back, they never like my pictures or comment or anything. This is every single time. I write someone a DM on Instagram and they never write back. I ask someone if I am unattractive and they never write back or block me. Or write back something hateful to me. It seems like everyone on Instagram thinks I am ugly and I just want someone to like me and accept me. They like other people and accept them so why not me? I’m 26 year old male. I see these other guys who are not celebrities that they follow them, like their photos but me? No they never happens to me. I’ve never been told I was good looking by someone online unlike these other people. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I don’t want to be an influencer. I have a dilemma I can’t wrap my head around and want some advice. I have a personal Instagram. Let’s call it JonDoe. It goes with my personal twitter/twitch/youtube. On it, I have mixed personal content and brand content as a streamer/youtuber. It’s all growing very well, and I have over 1k on insta, growing daily, but I want to rebrand my JonDoe account to my streamer brand, lets call it SillyGamerStuff and start posting more funny / on-brand content. I figured I’d just start a second account for JonDoe’s personal stuff, for family, friends, girlfriend, etc and run with the momentum on my main account, now named SillyGamerStuff (don’t eff with momentum, right?) My only hangup, is that I would basically lose all my personal history on my JonDoe -> now SillyGamerStuff. “lose” as in, all my personal stuff from before I started this online personality, from about 2 years back, so 5 years or so of history, would be buried under all the brand content.
