So, I have a medical Facebook page with over 3 million likes and IG account with over 240K followers. Until last year, we had a website, we shared articles and related medical posts, and we were making from $700 to $1500 (sometimes) monthly. Let’s say that was OK but we started to losing fans (maybe not losing too much but we weren’t going up like we used to) and our post reach was going down. This was the main problem. We shared no more than 3 articles per day, in 4/5 hours range. So, like I sad that was last year and we stopped. Our page was also hacked 2 times and we manage to get it back twice. So far, we are only sharing images and some videos, related to the medicine. Most of the fans are medical students from 20 to 25 years. My question is: Is it possible to start something serious with this kind of stuff? Is it possible to run a business based on the fact that you have multi-million Facebook page + the IG account. If yes, where to start? Should I ask for investors or I should proceed with the blogging? Should we create some platform based on our category? I would really like a suggestions. I have a dilemma I can’t wrap my head around and want some advice. I have a personal Instagram. Let’s call it JonDoe. It goes with my personal twitter/twitch/youtube. On it, I have mixed personal content and brand content as a streamer/youtuber. It’s all growing very well, and I have over 1k on insta, growing daily, but I want to rebrand my JonDoe account to my streamer brand, lets call it SillyGamerStuff and start posting more funny / on-brand content. I figured I’d just start a second account for JonDoe’s personal stuff, for family, friends, girlfriend, etc and run with the momentum on my main account, now named SillyGamerStuff (don’t eff with momentum, right?) My only hangup, is that I would basically lose all my personal history on my JonDoe -> now SillyGamerStuff. “lose” as in, all my personal stuff from before I started this online personality, from about 2 years back, so 5 years or so of history, would be buried under all the brand content.
