To give the shortened version of what happened before I catch up with the question: Couple of months ago my account was locked due to “suspicious activity” (AKA my VPN). It asked me to verify my phone number *I don’t have a phone so I used a fake number. A number I no longer had access to). I tried to message Facebook using their ticket system explaining what happened (And posted on their forum). A day later my account was disabled. I tried to make a new account, it would lock me out after a few minutes and ask me to upload a photo of myself…so I do. A day-or-two later, the same thing; Disabled. I tried using a VPN, using my Virtual Machine, using both; Nothing. I get locked out and asked to upload a photo. I’ve even tried uploading photos of other people. |I’m currently using VoIP service DingTone for the phone numbers. A couple of weeks ago, I went into a local fast food chain and used their Wi-Fi to make the account. It seemed to actually work - it didn’t lock me out. That lasted a week before I woke up one morning to find the account gone….AGIAN! I have a dilemma I can’t wrap my head around and want some advice. I have a personal Instagram. Let’s call it JonDoe. It goes with my personal twitter/twitch/youtube. On it, I have mixed personal content and brand content as a streamer/youtuber. It’s all growing very well, and I have over 1k on insta, growing daily, but I want to rebrand my JonDoe account to my streamer brand, lets call it SillyGamerStuff and start posting more funny / on-brand content. I figured I’d just start a second account for JonDoe’s personal stuff, for family, friends, girlfriend, etc and run with the momentum on my main account, now named SillyGamerStuff (don’t eff with momentum, right?) My only hangup, is that I would basically lose all my personal history on my JonDoe -> now SillyGamerStuff. “lose” as in, all my personal stuff from before I started this online personality, from about 2 years back, so 5 years or so of history, would be buried under all the brand content.
