Hội mua bán fanpage facebook — Help Recovering Instagram Half-Created Username

Hey internet friends, Going to keep this as short and sweet as I can. A family member of mine is starting a new business, and tried to secure an @ for her business name last month. Apparently she got the @ she wanted, but between then and when she called me the next day, she couldn’t seem to get into the newly created account. When you try and go ‘forgot password’, after typing the @, Instagram throws an error saying 'no users found’. I then try with the email she signed up with, same message - 'no users found’. So in my mind here, the account never got created. However when you try and make a brand new account, the @ says not available, and the email also says not available / in use. Obviously the account got half created or something somehow, but we can’t login, reset the password or create a new account with those credentials. Hoping someone has ANY sort of direction to point us, as she’s already got the @ printed on business cards and everything, since she thought (and sort of did) have the username secured. Let me know. I have a dilemma I can’t wrap my head around and want some advice. I have a personal Instagram. Let’s call it JonDoe. It goes with my personal twitter/twitch/youtube. On it, I have mixed personal content and brand content as a streamer/youtuber. It’s all growing very well, and I have over 1k on insta, growing daily, but I want to rebrand my JonDoe account to my streamer brand, lets call it SillyGamerStuff and start posting more funny / on-brand content. I figured I’d just start a second account for JonDoe’s personal stuff, for family, friends, girlfriend, etc and run with the momentum on my main account, now named SillyGamerStuff (don’t eff with momentum, right?) My only hangup, is that I would basically lose all my personal history on my JonDoe -> now SillyGamerStuff. “lose” as in, all my personal stuff from before I started this online personality, from about 2 years back, so 5 years or so of history, would be buried under all the brand content.
