It is time we passed laws in the US forcing large companies like Facebook to provide adequate customer support. My non profit has hypotheticaLLY received thousands in fundraiser money from people throwing birthday fundraisers for us. We have as of yet not received a single penny of that money. You would think that a serious problem like this would be resolved quickly but not only have we been unable to resolve the issue, we can’t even get somebody on the phone to discuss it. There used to be an adcenter phone number and now there is literally no phone number at all - there literally isn’t even a manned support email now. Your only recourse is a (completely useless) “help” page, and a facebook help email system that just results in form letters from employees who clearly don’t read any of the emails they get. For a company dealing with millions of people that should be flatly illegal and we need laws to address this. Aside from the fundraiser issue I have been stalked and had my family attacked with no help from Facebook. My uncle has had a spammer pretending to be him for YEARS and I could keep listing stuff.
