Hi, so the company I work with wants to recruit through Facebook - pretty standard stuff, we are looking for vendors for a Christmas market. For some reason, a whole lot of our job postings on Facebook get flagged because it ‘violates community standards.’ We went through the ads to make sure there’s nothing even remotely offensive or problematic about it - we even checked for spelling a few times, yet the system still keeps taking it down without explaining why any deeper. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT We are a LEGO® part reseller company specializing in custom creations, therefore the text of the job opening contains the word 'LEGO®’ a lot, which is not in the name of our firm. Could it be possible that we might keep getting flagged because the algorithms think we are impersonating another company? Alternatively, what other reasons could there be for flagging perfectly okay job postings? I have a dilemma I can’t wrap my head around and want some advice. I have a personal Instagram. Let’s call it JonDoe. It goes with my personal twitter/twitch/youtube. On it, I have mixed personal content and brand content as a streamer/youtuber. It’s all growing very well, and I have over 1k on insta, growing daily, but I want to rebrand my JonDoe account to my streamer brand, lets call it SillyGamerStuff and start posting more funny / on-brand content. I figured I’d just start a second account for JonDoe’s personal stuff, for family, friends, girlfriend, etc and run with the momentum on my main account, now named SillyGamerStuff (don’t eff with momentum, right?) My only hangup, is that I would basically lose all my personal history on my JonDoe -> now SillyGamerStuff. “lose” as in, all my personal stuff from before I started this online personality, from about 2 years back, so 5 years or so of history, would be buried under all the brand content.
