I didn’t realize it was going live as I was creating my facebook page but now it’s up so no turning-back and going to wordpress as I’d initially planned… I’m just trying to host/showcase my ‘portfolio’/catalogue of my trees so I need good 'album’/tiered-albums functionality (IE categories of trees, then individual trees in that category, then a folder of an individual tree’s photos) and just don’t trust that to facebook’s Album feature so have 95% of my content on my laptop still and want to dump(lol) it somewhere I just don’t know where, has to be: easy to link to so I can easily share photos (and easy for people&myself to navigate the albums) somewhere that’s long-term dependable (even if I eventually had to pay…am getting/needing the benefit of cloud-backup here) Google-Drive seems a good choice, would love to hear thoughts on that!! Instagram requires using a phone which doesn’t work for me (I shoot on my S8+ but that’s not connected to anything I hard-wire the media off of it), also its photo environment seems to be photo-blog not photo-album so it’d be a 'weird fit’ even if I could make it work.. Definitely has to be somewhere that’s easily visible to as many as possible

I have a dilemma I can’t wrap my head around and want some advice. I have a personal Instagram. Let’s call it JonDoe. It goes with my personal twitter/twitch/youtube. On it, I have mixed personal content and brand content as a streamer/youtuber. It’s all growing very well, and I have over 1k on insta, growing daily, but I want to rebrand my JonDoe account to my streamer brand, lets call it SillyGamerStuff and start posting more funny / on-brand content. I figured I’d just start a second account for JonDoe’s personal stuff, for family, friends, girlfriend, etc and run with the momentum on my main account, now named SillyGamerStuff (don’t eff with momentum, right?) My only hangup, is that I would basically lose all my personal history on my JonDoe -> now SillyGamerStuff. “lose” as in, all my personal stuff from before I started this online personality, from about 2 years back, so 5 years or so of history, would be buried under all the brand content.
