Hello, I have a client who wants me to work on its Social media strategy. What I offer its social media management on facebook, linkedIn, Instagram and Twitter. He said he could hire me if I can provide 100% on its investment. That means if he pays $400 he should have $800 back for example. I am new to this job. And all the campaigns that I ran in the past took a little time to show this kind of results. So the question I’m asking to experienced marketers is if it’s safe to work on this. I have a dilemma I can’t wrap my head around and want some advice. I have a personal Instagram. Let’s call it JonDoe. It goes with my personal twitter/twitch/youtube. On it, I have mixed personal content and brand content as a streamer/youtuber. It’s all growing very well, and I have over 1k on insta, growing daily, but I want to rebrand my JonDoe account to my streamer brand, lets call it SillyGamerStuff and start posting more funny / on-brand content. I figured I’d just start a second account for JonDoe’s personal stuff, for family, friends, girlfriend, etc and run with the momentum on my main account, now named SillyGamerStuff (don’t eff with momentum, right?) My only hangup, is that I would basically lose all my personal history on my JonDoe -> now SillyGamerStuff. “lose” as in, all my personal stuff from before I started this online personality, from about 2 years back, so 5 years or so of history, would be buried under all the brand content.
