I am thinking of posting photos of places and events I visit on weekends. The primary aims are to: Self-documentation as a personal diary or archive to remind me of past events or places I visited. To share the personal side of my life (what I do in my personal time) with people I know personally (friends and relatives), and not random strangers on the Internet, professional contacts or acquaintances. If I have to choose only 1 social media site to archive, post and share my photos in one place, which social media site would be the most appropriate for me? I have thought through the 3 popular options. Facebook Con: I have many Facebook “friends” whom I would not actually consider friends, since they can be people I have not kept in touch with for years. They can be contacts/friends from schools whom I have not spoken to for years or even decades. They are not really in my circle of friends that I want to share details of my personal life with. I can probably create a list of trusted friends and assign permission to see my posts only for them, but I would hope not to mess around too much with permissions if need be. I also do not wish to spam my casual contacts with my update
