Hội mua bán fanpage facebook — Looking to help a local film studio, need advice

I’m fresh out of college, and have been looking mostly for freelance work to build up my resume and experiences. I recently sat down with a local film production studio in my hometown. They haven’t really released anything in nearly 10 years, their website is out of date, they don’t even have any social media accounts for the production company itself. Here’s what they want me to do. Basically, they are trying to get a kids movie they did in back in the late 2000s back on the scene because they think kids movies can be timeless (they can, but I think they’re reaching on this one) and a new crop of kids will get excited about it. They obviously want to target kids through moms. One bright spot is the film’s facebook page has 37+ likes, but never gets more than 5 people to engage on posts, which are infrequent, off-topic, and has basically the same copy on every post. The posts link to Netflix, which their film is not available on. There is a flurry of red flags. I haven’t gotten full access to their social accounts just yet, so I don’t know what’s going on under the hood. ​ The summarize my concerns, I don’t know if I should take this work. I have a dilemma I can’t wrap my head around and want some advice. I have a personal Instagram. Let’s call it JonDoe. It goes with my personal twitter/twitch/youtube. On it, I have mixed personal content and brand content as a streamer/youtuber. It’s all growing very well, and I have over 1k on insta, growing daily, but I want to rebrand my JonDoe account to my streamer brand, lets call it SillyGamerStuff and start posting more funny / on-brand content. I figured I’d just start a second account for JonDoe’s personal stuff, for family, friends, girlfriend, etc and run with the momentum on my main account, now named SillyGamerStuff (don’t eff with momentum, right?) My only hangup, is that I would basically lose all my personal history on my JonDoe -> now SillyGamerStuff. “lose” as in, all my personal stuff from before I started this online personality, from about 2 years back, so 5 years or so of history, would be buried under all the brand content.
